Welcome to Our Signature Summer Programs!
Get ready for an unforgettable summer where creativity, innovation, and excitement come together! Our four signature summer programs are designed to inspire and engage students from PreK to 8th grade. Each program features our unique LEGO Grand Prix theme, where students will design, build, and code their own F1-style race cars using LEGO Education’s Spike Prime (or LEGO Education SPIKE Essential and WeDo 2.0 for our youngest explorers). They’ll race on our custom LEGO race track in an exhilarating grand prix event, with parents cheering on their teams. In addition to this thrilling experience, students will participate in age-appropriate digital media workshops, discovering their voices through podcasting and movie-making. Our programs are tailored to advance with each age group, ensuring a developmentally appropriate and enriching experience for every child.

Every camper will participate in two core courses: the LEGO Grand Prix engineering challenge and a digital media workshop. Additionally, campers can choose one fun activity to get them moving, with our slogan: Camper Choice – Choose Your Fun!

Junior Explorers
PreK-1st Grade
Little Engineers, Big Dreams!
Our youngest campers will embark on a journey of discovery and fun! In the Junior Explorers program, children will explore the basics of engineering with LEGO Education SPIKE Essential and WeDo 2.0. These sets include simple motors and sensors, introducing basic engineering and programming concepts in an age-appropriate way. They’ll design and build their very own race cars, learning through play and hands-on activities. The excitement culminates in a grand prix race where they can showcase their creations. Additionally, our digital media workshop will introduce them to the world of storytelling through simple podcasting and movie-making projects, sparking their creativity and confidence.

2nd-3rd Grade
Imagination in Motion!
For our Creative Adventurers, the summer is all about bringing ideas to life. Students will dive deeper into the world of LEGO engineering, building more complex race cars and coding them for optimal performance. Using LEGO Education WeDo 2.0, they’ll build and program motorized models, with the “Speed” lesson plan being particularly relevant for car racing. Additionally, LEGO Education SPIKE Essential will offer more complex builds and programming challenges as students progress. The grand prix race will be a thrilling highlight, where their hard work and creativity shine. In the digital media workshop, they’ll explore more advanced storytelling techniques, creating their own podcasts and short films. This program is designed to nurture their growing skills and imagination.

4th-5th Grade
Building the Future!
Our Innovative Makers program challenges students to push the boundaries of their creativity and technical skills. They’ll engage in advanced LEGO engineering projects, designing and coding sophisticated race cars for the grand prix. The competition will be fierce and fun, with students applying their knowledge in a real-world context. The digital media workshop will encourage them to delve into detailed podcasting and filmmaking, honing their ability to communicate and express themselves through digital media.

6th-8th Grade
Leading the Way in Innovation!
For our oldest campers, the Tech Trailblazers program offers an immersive experience in engineering and digital media. Students will tackle complex LEGO Spike Prime projects, designing and coding high-performance race cars for the grand prix. They’ll learn advanced techniques and problem-solving skills, preparing them for future STEM challenges. In the digital media workshop, they’ll produce professional-quality podcasts and films, exploring in-depth topics and refining their creative voices.
